Throughout my life, I found it hard to believe that any father cared about me enough to come after me every time I messed up, let alone a God. I always thought that there was a limit. However, as I wandered away from the Lord, he found me, and showed me that he loved me enough to die for me, and that he would again and again if it meant having a relationship with me.

Overboard Ministries exists to push back against the narrative that you can only approach the Lord if you look a certain way, dress a certain way, live a certain way; that there always has to be a prerequisite. The Bible says that we are children of the Most High God, fearfully and wonderfully made, and we aim to encourage Biblical identity amongst believers. We preach radical discipleship to learn how to follow him closely and draw closer to him; to learn how he always pursues us and how we should pursue others. We also help to encourage and ordain members of the faith to step out of the boat and onto the stormy waters to go rescue other believers struggling in the faith, to the people who need their Heavenly Father and Savior. We want to learn what it means to leave behind colorful imprints of Christ on the people around us, to be so different and so radical in the faith that nobody can deny the glory of Christ our King.
